Sports Coaching

What’s your potential?

How can you improve most in the least amount of time?

What sport(s) are you naturally cut out for?

What playing tips will help you most?

BT can provide answers.  Sports coaching is our most-requested service.  Evaluating athletes (according to BT) is about the “3 Ps”—placement, positioning, and projection.

Or to put it another way, we can tell you which sport(s) you’re best suited for (mentally & physically), which positions within those sport(s), and give a realistic projection for an athletic career (based upon 20+ years of experience in sports, and our comprehensive BT database of thousands of professional athletes).   We help athletes of all skill levels.   Let us remember that sports are "played" and therefore meant to be fun and enjoyable!

Our evaluations include:

  1. Accurate BT analysis.

  2. Discussion (via phone or Zoom) re: BT (inborn nature), similarities and differences (relational strengths and challenges), mental and physical skill-sets, and vocational aptitude (per area of interest).

  3. Evaluation completed with a personalized report (e-mailed), outlining 7 areas of meaningful and practical life application.

  4. Follow-up questions (by phone or e-mail) are always permitted and welcomed.

"We’ve probably learned more about our daughter's tennis game from you in the past week than we ever have in her tennis lifetime!!! What a transformation ...it's been so insightful."  - J. Russell, United Kingdom

Team

Sports Coaching

We commonly help teams and organizations with the following:

  • Offer meaningful comparison of potential & existing players, suggesting which BTs are optimal for each position

  • Provide comparison of players (past & present) of like BT with similar size & position, in their sport

  • Offer experienced critique of players who share the same BT, suggesting which is the better candidate

  • Identify the BTs of entire roster, and offer “player value” counsel to coaches & staff

  • Find players still “under the radar” (usually from high school & college camps) who have considerable potential for a modest contract (league minimum-type)

  • Conversely, identify players who have a “low ceiling,” which finds are not uncommon, but less common at the professional level granted (compared to NCAA)

  • Provide interpretation & insight into players’ metrics

  • Work stealthily—staying out of the media, & avoiding player/coach personal space (like a fly on the wall)

  • Empirically and yet appreciably evaluate player mental health (within their respective BT)

  • Identify draft picks with the highest probability for success* (*at their position, & in accord with the goals & intentions of coaching staff)

Upon request, we can personally interact with players, giving them an accurate vision of their capabilities, and how to best get there.
